Life is many things in time and season for all of us. For some, life is joyous and fulfilling; for others, life is searching its meaning. But life is for us all, waiting. Sometimes in lines, sometimes for time; sometimes to grow up. Waiting, as a matter of fact, is life wrapped up in gray hairs, in hope and faith until death separates the spirit from the body. It will always exist in our life-time. Life without time to wait, is fast and unsecured. The Lord YAHSHUA assured us with the promise of His return for us by saying, Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you. And when I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also (John 14:1-3). A familiar passage we often mention to boost our hope in His promise, but at the same time, many of us are waiting not for this promise, but for the false messiah to be revealed. While we wait for Him, our hearts must not be troubled with anxiety and worries over the evil happenings in the world. Our hearts must be filled with faith and belief in God and in YAHSHUA’S promise of His return for us, when He will take us to Himself. This promise was the hope of all who came before us, without seeing it being fulfilled. This promise has been given thousands of years ago to the prophets of old. They too did not see it fulfilled in their life time, but it is still alive today, supporting and uplifting us in this troubled world.

What Would Have Become of Me?
Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him (Prov. 29:5). Life is most uncertain when we walk in our own understanding, without regarding God as part of the equation of our life’s plan. The Psalmist asks the question, What would have becoming of me…had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living? (Psalm 27:13)
What would the result be for my life if I disregarded God’s sovereignty over me? Do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Prov. 3:6-7). A sure future of hope and blessings waits those who fear and acknowledge God in all their doings. Although Israel for a long time in the reign of kings were without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law, the Lord God in His mercy was always ready to save them in their distress when they sought Him with all their heart. King Asa started as a good and successful king; however, when he forsook the Lord to walk in his own way, even in his illness he did not seek the Lord, he was ripped of blessings and died in his rebellion. What became of him was the result of his own foolish action to forsake the Lord.

Look At Things That Are Unseen
(II Corinthians 4:18; Titus 2:13)
For our light, momentary affliction is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory, since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal, but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting (II Cor. 4:17-18).
Visible and invisible things are ever being introduced to us by means of circumstances (visible) and faith that sprouts from the reading the Word of God. Those whose hope depends solely on things seen are the most miserable of men. They are as the illustration YAHSHUA gave concerning the man who built his house on sand. Its foundation lasts only as long as there is no change in the environment or weather. But soon as they change, the foundation disappears with them. The foundation of things is the most important part of any plan to be successfully substantiated. YAHSHUA said that life did not consist in and is not derived from possessions; life is more than things, as food; and the body more than clothes (Luke 12: 15,23). These are temporal and seen things available to us as part of life, but they are not to control and dictate our state of mind.
