YAHSHUA – The Power, the Wisdom and the Word of God

(I Corinthians 1: 24; John 1:1-4; Revelation 19:13)

John makes a declaration that made us realize the importance of YAHSHUA in the creation of the world and everything in it. He was the Word spoken commanding existence of everyone and everything being created. John said, In the beginning was the Word (YAHSHUA), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God, all things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being (John 1:1-4).

Miracles at YAHSHUA’S Crucifixion

In the midst of chaos, YAHSHUA performed yet great miracles as He was letting go of His life to prove men that He was Whom He said He was. Embed by pains from His head to His toes, from His inner soul to His spirit, He, even though God, suffered as man in every sense of the word, for He was condemned as man by His Father, when He took upon Himself the sins of the world. However, He never stopped being God. Nature knew and reacted in the form of trembling. It was as if it could understand and perceive what was happening to the One Who had created it. The miracles that surrounded the atmosphere were vividly proclaiming to men that that Man was not an ordinary man, He was God! Nature could not be quiet about it.

When God’s Holiness Touches Man

(Daniel 10:5-9; Exodus 33; Revelation 1: 17a)

While Adam remained in covenant with God, he remained in fellowship with Him. But when he broke it, he became spiritually and physically separated from God and His holiness. He lost the light from God which clothed him. Once that was gone, he entered into darkness and did not want his darkness to be exposed, so he hid it from God and the light from His holiness when he heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden, in the cool of the day.

Behold, Tax Collectors and Sinners Sitting at the Table with YAHSHUA

That was a sight to see for those self-righteous! The Pharisees were an exclusive group of people who tried to follow the Law at its letter. They were those who spied on YAHSHUA and tried Him. They were also those who cried from the tops of their lung the words, Crucify Him, crucify Him!

Everyone Whose Name Shall Be Found Written in the Book

                                                       (Daniel 12)

YAHSHUA called the attention of the seventy disciples when they returned from a mission trip with the report of the success they had over the demons in YAHSHUA’S name. He called their attention to a subject of great importance not known or perceived before when they said, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name! That was the result of the authority and power YAHSHUA had given them over demons and Satan when He sent them out.

It Is God’s Righteousness Imputed In Us That Counts

(Romans 10)

The righteousness that God ascribes makes one acceptable to Him in word, thought and deed. Men’s righteousness according to the Word of God is like a filthy rag; in sin man was conceived. The root of man’s being is ingrained in sin. There is nothing good in men, even his good deeds are not considered by God to be so apart from His righteousness being imputed to him.

YAHSHUA and the Law

God’s commandments for the nation of Israel were established in the wilderness of Sinai on the third month after they had left Egypt on their way to the Promised Land. They constituted a covenant of spiritual and moral dimensions between God and Israel. This was a very significant period in their journey, for the commandments were to connect the people to God, and to distinguish them from the rest of the other nations.
