Brightening my way
To understanding
Wisdom is a lamp
For every step I take
Wisdom is God
Sharing Himself with me
Guiding me to a path

Eternity
How can it be defined?
Obscurity of the mind
No beginning, no end
Forever and ever
Grey cells wonder
This thing was, it is
And will always be
The song of eternity.
Like a sea roaring
In the tempest
In its immense power
Rocking the waters
With wrath at its best
Embracing the earth
As if one with it
Uniting it with the sky
In the horizon
Sea and earth meet
East the birth of a new day
West hello to the night
As eternity waves its banner
Existing in a forever span
A day, 1,000 years
A 1,000 years, a day.
Peace, the Longing of the Soul
Five letter word
Sought by the world
And everyone I know,
Runs swiftly bringing
The essence of joy
To the hearts
Who cries day and night
Peace, be my Light.
As food is for the body
So, peace is for the soul
Reflecting its glow.
Peace calms the storm
And lifts men to shore
Fear not, I AM!
His word, like a balm

I know In Whom I Have Believed

A speckle of dust
Embed in the wings of time
Victim of circumstances
I come, I go
to and fro
Aimless, at times
Looking for answers
Of things I do not know.
I stumble, I fall
Sometimes here and there
In the waves of time
Whose clock will not stop
To look about
And give a hand
There, now stand
Face your tomorrow.
Awake My Soul
Awake my soul from slumber
To the glory of YAHWEH
Displayed every moment
Around and about you
Awake to the hour
Nearing when to Him
You must give an account
Surround yourself with truth
Of the everlasting covenant
And know His faithfulness
Shown to you by His grace
A thing you do not deserve
Lift up your hands to Him
And utter words of gratitude
Light from the Word
