My Life

Memories take my mind

Childhood of yesteryear,

Innocence, dreams, laughter…

I remember my past

When trust was my companion

Faith my friend

One day at a time

To God, I surrendered.

Just a speckle, I am

In the form of a dust

Blown by the wind

Here today, gone tomorrow

Old age, wrinkles

Deafness- what did you say?

My eye sight, who is there?

I sign, where the time went?

This speckle of dust

Is not just a speckle,

I learned, but

A sparkle of light

In God’s sight

When He gave His life

He planted eternity

in my heart and

A new song I now sing

My life, my destiny

God took and blessed me

With life beyond the dust

Valuable I am in His sight

He died and gave me life

A speckle of dust I was

But redeemed by His blood

I am a sparkle of light.

I have been committed to teaching the truth of the Word of God beginning with Trans World Radio on Bonaire, N.A and Swaziland, Africa (1969-1980), then through churches in the United States in both English and Portuguese and then through ministry in Israel (2005-2006). This ministry continues through local Bible studies and outreach to the world via the internet. I have written a book about my life from that of an orphan in Brazil to missionary in 5 countries.
