In those days when the wrath of God will take the place of His grace and mercy, men will be shaken with fear and desperation. They will faint from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world (Luke 21:26a). Many will try to hide under the rocks, trying to escape the heaviness of God’s hands against them, but there will be no place to run to where it will be safe. YAHSHUA emphatically warned the disciples concerning that day, telling them to be patient and endure all that is coming as a result of God’s wrath. These, of course, are not for the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ is “those who are considered worthy to gain that other world and that future age and will attain to the resurrection.”
The day of vengeance was in My heart, and My year of redemption has come (Isaiah 63:4a). Those will be the days when the kings of the earth and their noblemen and their magnates and their military chiefs and the wealthy and the strong and slave or free hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, and they called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne and from the deep-seated indignation and wrath of the Lamb, for the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand before it (Rev. 6:15-17)? No human can fathom the depths of the coming wrath of God coming down to destroy the wicked. Isaiah prophesied about those days in chapter 2: 10-21. Verses 12,19 say: for there shall be a day of the Lord of hosts against all who are proud and haughty and against all who are lifted up and they shall be bought low, and men will go into caves of the rocks, and into holes of the ground before the terror of the Lord, and before the splendor of His majesty when He arises to make the earth tremble.
In Daniel chapter 12:1a says, and at that time Michael shall arise, the great prince who defends and has charge of your [Daniel’s] people. And there shall be a time of trouble, straightness and distress such as never was since there was a nation till that time. The Prophet Joel calls the trumpet to be blown in Zion; to sound an alarm on God’s holy Mount. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day the Lord is coming; it is close at hand, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and of thick mists and darkness. (Joel 2:1-2a).
We are heading toward that day. The powerful ones of this earth, who control the peoples through their means of riches will be left confused and left with nothing, but the terrible wrath of God. Their money, their god will face in that day, the only true God. He will stand against them and they will perish before His majesty. In spite of this, God gives them today for repentance and turning to Him. He says, therefore now, says the Lord, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. Rend your hearts and not your garments and return to the Lord, your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in loving-kindness; and He revokes His sentence of evil. Who knows but what He will turn, revoke your sentence and leave a blessing behind Him (Joel 2:12-14a)?
Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered and saved, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the remnant shall be those whom the Lord calls (Joel 2:32). Judgment is sure to come to the world, and specifically to Israel. But God’s heart is never willing to destroy men without giving him a second chance. For Israel and for those who will be left behind suffering under His wrath, there will be an opportunity to call on His name and be saved. The steadfastness of those who will turn to the Lord in repentance will be rewarded with their salvation. That time will be times of persecution toward those who will not worship the beast nor take his mark. They will not be able to sell or buy. Perseverance however, is called out to those who have repented. There will be no salvation if they receive the mark of the beast, for they have been sealed with the devil for the day of their own destruction, as the bride of Christ has been sealed with His Holy Spirit for her day of salvation.
By your steadfastness you will gain your lives (Luke 21:19). Steadfastness here is the absence of worries which brings anxiety. No one in his worries is able to think clearly. Perseverance is a decision one should make in light of his situation; it is the only way out of despair and hopelessness. The signs of time are everywhere today. Many of us are feeling the discomfort of lawlessness, apostasy in its culmination, the hatred for life demonstrated through the killings of babies, etc. This is the time when a believer needs to apply the complete armor of God, praying at all times, and in every circumstance. Worries should not have place in any person who professes to know YAHSHUA as his Lord and Savior. We should not be surprised and in awe of what is happening, instead, let’s get with Bible teachings concerning this time. It is exciting in many aspects to see God’s word fulfilling its prophecies of many years ago. YAHSHUA, after uttering prophecy concerning His return, said, Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away (Luke 21:33). His coming for His bride and His coming wrath for the wicked are sureties and we must consider them. While there is time, my friend, seek Him Who made the Pleiades and Orion, Who turns the shadow of death or deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, Who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out upon the face of the earth- the Lord is His name, Who causes sudden destruction to flash forth upon the strong so that destruction comes upon the fortress (Amos 5:8,9).
When Moses led his people out of the land of Egypt, at the point when they had to face the Red Sea in front of them and the Egyptians behind them who had come to destroy them, Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest (Exodus 14:13-14). Meanwhile, we are hemmed in with all kinds of bad news regarding the end times. Remember, only that which God has ordained will take place. Men’s purpose and goals are as nothing. Therefore, I will say to you, Fear not. Soon, the Lord will take His position as King and the entire earth will be destroyed together with the evil ones. But if you do not know YAHSHUA as your Savior and Lord, the time for you to know Him is now. This is a window of mercy the Lord is leaving open for you. Repent and you shall be saved!
THINK ABOUT IT!
