Reconciled with God, we have peace; that peace that only He can give; the peace that passes all understanding, for there is no more condemnation for those who are in YAHSHUA Messiah (Rom. 5:1). Salvation is only through YAHSHUA’S sacrifice, and not through the works of our hands. Salvation provided from the cross was sufficient, because it was through His blood that forgiveness reached deeply into our soul, cleansed and made it whole. YAHSHUA said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. (John 14:6).
The Bible says, Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is (I John 3:2). As God’s children, we are promised to be as He is, when we see Him. The welcome home we will hear when we see His face will be most rewarding. Just being able to enter heaven at the words of our Savior saying, Welcome My child, will be glory unspeakable.
Paul said, but we are citizens of the state which is in heaven, and from it also earnestly and patiently await [the coming of] the Lord YAHSHUA the Savior, Who will transform and fashion anew the body of our humiliation to conform to and be like the body of His glory and majesty, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself (Phil. 3:20-21). The Holy Spirit sealed our ticket to heaven with the blood of YAHSHUA, guaranteeing our salvation. If the world hated you, (YAHSHUA said) know that it hated Me before it hated you; if you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world the world hates you (John 15:18-19). He said, Here I am, I and that children whom God has given Me. Since therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood , He in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death – that is, the devil -and also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives (Heb.2:14-15). Without this redeeming act of the Lord, we would be held condemned to eternal death. And how shall we escape if we neglect and refuse to pay attention to such a great salvation? For it was declared at first by the Lord [Himself] and was confirmed to us and proved to be real and genuine by those who personally heard [Him speak] (Heb.2:3).
YAHSHUA is the only door to heaven. The price required for us to enter it, He paid it in full. There is no salvation in anyone else, but through Him only. However, the way to heaven is narrow, very narrow, limited only to those who will leave behind the worldly ways to pursue God’s holiness. The writer to the letter to the Hebrews admonishes us saying, Therefore, while the promise of entering His (God’s) rest still holds and is offered [today], let us be afraid [to distrust it], lest any of you should think he has come too late and has come short of [reaching] it, for indeed, we have had the glad tidings proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith by those who heard it (Heb. 4:1-2). It is by faith, mingled with the message we have heard that we will make it to heaven. It is by faith that we can say, “God will receive me.” I know in Whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed until that day (II Tim. 1:12). I know that He will receive me at the end of my journey here. How about you?
THINK ABOUT IT!
