Do Not I Fill Heaven and Earth?

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable are His judgments! And how untraceable are His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or who has been His counselor? Or who has first given God anything that he might be paid back or that he could claim a recompense? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever! Amen (Rom. 11:33-36). The earth is full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Isaiah 11:9b). We are just a particle of dust before the majesty of the presence of God, filling heavens and earth. His splendor covers the heavens and the earth is full of his praise (Hab.3). The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament His handiworks (Ps. 19:1). He created all and He maintains all as His presence shines His goodness, His love and faithfulness. It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not; they are new every morning; great and abundant is Your faithfulness (Lam. 3:22-23).  What would this earth be if the presence of the Lord would not be filling it with His love and care? Imagine, how chaotic our life would be and how disorderly would the universe be! Because we take all for granted, we miss experiencing His glory, for spiritual blindness has taken our awareness of Him. They say the world was created by a simple bang!

In the fullness of time, when God sent His Son to earth to fulfill His plan of redemption, YAHSHUA became “God with us” physically in every aspect of life.  He felt hunger, tiredness, thirst, He felt frustrated.  But His association as man was without being tainted and influenced by sin. A thing only He could do, for He is altogether holy; His holiness overpowers sin. He came to destroy the power of sin and free us from its condemnation. When on earth, He spoke and demons fled; He commanded the sea to a calm and it obeyed Him; diseases were removed at His command; death gave up at His words and resurrection power brought a few to life. His presence was so affective that men marveled at Him. “Who is this that even the sea obeys Him?” Even though, God fills the heavens and the earth, He, through the third person of the trinity- the HOLY SPIRIT, dwells in each of us who has been born again. His presence in us gives us peace in the midst of turmoil; gives us faith to endure and hope to believe in the future. It’s a gift to our spirit, soul and body. My peace, YAHSHUA said, Peace. I leave with you; Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid (John 14:27); faith is the victory that overcomes the world (I John 5:4); hope- In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you, and when I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also (John 14:2). Where the Spirit of God is, there will be peace, love, hope, patience, kindness, joy, temperance, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. These are the demonstrations in the life filled with Him. They express the presence of God. The Bible calls them the fruit of the Spirit of God.

Why are we not experiencing the presence of God in us? Is there something interfering with it? Search me O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (Ps. 139:23-24). The heart of man leans toward evil. David said, Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity; my mother was sinful who conceived me (Ps. 139). And so it is that we all need the new birth in YAHSHUA for the soul to be regenerated and submissive to God. The presence of God will be welcomed then, and the process of sanctification, before we are glorified, will take place. So, God fills the heavens and the earth, but He also dwells individually in each of His bride.

That is why there will be no way that His bride will go through His wrath by means of the great tribulation. Otherwise, God will subject Himself to His own wrath. Since He promised never to leave us nor forsake us, will He leave us to suffer under His wrath with the wicked people, who hate Him?  And then come to a bruised and beaten bride? Would He Who have acquitted us, condemn us? Paul asked this question in the letter to the Roman Christians chapter eight. Because He dwells in us and we in Him, according to the words of YAHSHUA, There is now no more condemnation for those of us who are in Him (Romans 8:1). He said, Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me; I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much fruit…If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire and they are burned. (Eternal punishment) (John 15). Friends, there is no way to be safe from God’s wrath to come than to continue abiding in Him and He in you. If you believe you are to go through the great tribulation, it is your own judgment on yourself, not God’s, if you are His bride.
