The Coming Great Deception

The antichrist will be revealed to those who will be left behind, after the taking away of YAHSHUA’S bride. According to Paul in II Thessalonians 2:3 the departure and the revealing of the antichrist will be the signs that the Day of the Lord, or the tribulation has arrived.  Paul so warned the Thessalonians not to be deceived believing that the Day of the Lord had arrived, without these signs. He also warned the Thessalonians to be calm, to put on the breastplate of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation, For God had not appointed them (us) to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord YAHSHUA Messiah (I Thess. 5:8-9). This is a firm foundation for us to stand on, firmly with feet shod, not to fall into the deceit that we are destined to suffer God’s wrath. The Word of God gives us encouragement in which we are edified by His promise of salvation. By faith we take His Word as truth, believing Him; that is our protective weapon from deceits. We must remain on higher ground, avoiding as much as possible, the sinking sand of deceit. Let’s not be weary of waiting for God’s promise to be fulfilled, for He Who promised is faithful to accomplish that which He has promised. Let’s keep looking up; it is from heaven that our Lord will descend for us.

We have arrived at a unprecedent time when truth is not believed or accepted; when those who follow truth are persecuted; when darkness of deceit has enveloped the minds of many people and fear controls their behavior. They find it is easier to remain in darkness of the lies, dictating their beliefs than to accept the truth. Today, information is available everywhere if you want to come to the light of truth. Choose not to stay in the darkness of deceit and fear, but to believe the truth, while there is still time and knowledge available. We do not know how much longer we are to go through before our departure from this earth, but one thing we do know: our salvation is through our Lord YAHSHUA, Who died for us so that whether we are still alive or are dead [at Christ’s appearing], we might live together with Him and share His life (I Thess. 5:10).  The Prophet Isaiah, many years ago, asked the question, Who has believed our message? Today, this question is resounding loudly and clearly, for the spirit of unbelief has taken over the minds and made it difficult for many people to walk in faith of belief. As YAHSHUA said, Will the Son of Man find faith on the earth when He comes (Luke 18:8)?  In light of what is happening, it is easier to believe what one sees, (for that does not require faith), than believe what has been prophesized by today’s prophets. The Word of God warns us to test the spirits to see if they come from God. That is our responsibility to find out, so that we will not fall into disbelief or fall into wrong belief. However, our belief must have the foundation on which to stand on- the Word of God; it must be mingled with faith in order to be active against deceit. What is truth and what is not? It is the question many of us are asking. For the fakeness of people, food, history, news, etc. determines the times we live in. Deceit in every situation of life leaves us wondering what is, and what it is not. While YAHSHUA was seated on the Mount of Olives, in his sermon about the end time, one thing that He emphasized was deceit. He said, Be careful that no one misleads you, for many will come in My name saying, I am the Messiah and they will lead many astray (Matt. 24:4). Deception will grow worse with the approaching time for the revealing of the antichrist. As a mater of fact, he is almost at the door, and the bride of YAHSHUA is almost out of the door of this world. Be alert and discerning; know the times we are in, and be strong on your faith. This is the time to pray, watch and wait for our Lord, YAHSHUA.
