Writing to the Christians of Thessalonica, Paul confirmed the words of YAHSHUA saying, “Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you for you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the [return of] the Lord will come as a thief in the night. When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, there is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape. (Tribulation time after the Jewish nation’s signing of the treaty with the antichrist. Dan. 9: 27).
But you are not in darkness, brethren for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief. For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness. Accordingly, then let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake and let us be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. But we belong to the day; therefore, let us be sober and put on the breastplate of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation, for God has not appointed us to [incur His] wrath, but obtain [his] salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (I Thess. 5:1-9). Paul at the end of the chapter gives guidelines how to be prepared for that day: (1) encourage, edify one another (2) respect for the leaders in Christ (3) admonish those who are out of line (4) encourage the timid and faint (5) be patient with everybody (6) forgive and show kindness to everyone (7) rejoice in the Lord always (8) be unceasing in prayer (9) be thankful to God in everything (10) do not grieve the Holy Spirit (11) do not [depreciate prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instruction or exhortation or warning] (12) Test and prove all things (13) hold what is good and (14) abstain from evil in whatever form or whatever kind it may be (I Thess. 5:10-22).
I understood the message to be readiness of all who love the Lord. And secondly that the time for His appearance is very near. “The days of Noah” phrase is key to understand the extent of the evil days we live in. Noah and his family were the only ones found to be righteous before God in that generation. God planned salvation for them through the refuge of an ark the Lord told Noah to build for him and his family. Today we see the days of Noah happening in their several parallels. But God has prepared means of salvation for His remnant. You can get more information concerning The days of Noah and its parallels to today by watching prophecywatchers.com. I pray your hearts will be ready to receive this warning from the Lord.
Until He comes, I am your servant in the Kingdom,
