Why the Rapture

YAHSHUA gave us a hint when the time will be for His coming for His bride through the rapture. He said that that time will reflect those days of Noah. He gives a picture of the rapture in Matthew 24:40-41: At that time two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left; two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be taken and one will be left. Watch therefore, for you do not know in what kind of a day your Lord is coming. Blessed is that servant whom when his master comes, he will find so doing. The Christian who believes in the pre-tribulation purifies himself spiritually as John confirms, And everyone who has this hope on Him cleanses himself just as He is pure (I John 3:3). They will be the ones found prepared. For those who are waiting for the antichrist and the tribulation their focus is not on the imminence of the return of Christ. The lack of knowledge and understand caught the Noah’s day people by surprise and they perished in their ignorance. To be caught up by surprise indicates unpreparedness. That day will come surprising many who have made the choice not to believe. They will be swept away in their ignorance.  The reality of the rapture according to YAHSHUA is that at that time two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left; two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be taken and one will be left. He then warned us to be Watchful therefore, for you do not know in what kind of a day your Lord is coming. Blessed is that servant whom when his master comes, he will find so doing. The Christian who believes in the pre-tribulation concerns himself to purity. He must purify himself as John said, And everyone who has this hope on Him cleanses himself just as He is pure (I John 3:3). They will be the ones found ready. Those on the other hand, who are waiting for the antichrist and the tribulation, because their focus is not on the imminence of the return of Christ, will be found not ready. They will not recognize the time of their redemption.

Psalm 91 is a Psalm of assurance and deliverance from all evil of plagues, all terrors, pestilence, destruction and sudden death to those who abide in the secret place of the Most High. The stability of a believer is found under the shadow of the Almighty. His promises are sustained by His faithfulness. His faithfulness is a shield and a defense. No place is more secure for the believer than “The secret place of the Most High.”  Faith keeps us secured in Him. YAHSHUA warned us to pray so that we will escape the hours of trials(tribulation) and be found safe in His presence. He did not tell us to pray to endure the wrath of God. Our salvation will not come through God’s wrath, or condemnation, for our Lord already suffered that in our stead. He died for us so that whether we are still alive or are dead [at Christ’s appearing], we might live together with Him and share His life (I Thess. 5:9-10). He has not called His bride to incur His wrath and indignation before He takes her home. The wrath of God has been stored up for those who are self-seeking and self-willed and disobedient to the Truth but responsive to wickedness. There will be tribulation and anguish and calamity and constraint for every soul of man who does evil… (Rom. 2: 8-9). The believer will be tried here on earth as consequence of his sin. But the worldwide tribulation under the ultimate wrath of God is not for His bride. This I believe!
