Study and be eager to do the best to present yourself to Yahweh a worker who has passed the test of trials, whose life is blameless before Him in teaching Yahweh’s Word correctly, skillfully and faithfully to others who will in return pass it on. Study and be eager to present yourself to Yahweh courageously and faithfully as a soldier, who is committed to leave all his personal affairs behind to give his life unto death for the cause of fighting, to defend and protect others; be strong in suffering as an athlete who enters the race with eagerness to win the prize without looking back. In laboring as a farmer who works hard every day rain or shine to provide food for his family; study and be eager to present yourself as a faithful servant, girding your loins, making the very most of time to restore others to health, to guide others to truth, to set the captives free.
The servant of Yahweh must be a vessel set apart from the contaminating and corrupt influences of the world; a vessel set apart useful for honorable purposes, consecrated and profitable unto Yahweh’s kingdom, for He has called us and confirmed us to His service. Not only must the servant of Yahweh be skilled in teaching His Word; he must be humble, forbearing and willing to suffer wrong, as Yahshua taught and practiced it; He said, But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, offer him the left cheek also (Matthews 5:39-48). He gave His other cheek to those who were crucifying Him, and suffered wrong when He prayed, Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing; He opened not His mouth at the unfair judgment against Him. The servant of Yahweh must not be ashamed neither fearful to impart truth and stand alone for the sake of truth; he must be eager to reach out to those who are perishing in their sins and ideas.
To study the Word of Yahweh is to maintain the complete armor on; knowing and discerning the attacks that come our way; it is to be prepared and equipped to fight with the sword of the Spirit – the Word of God, like a good soldier at war and like an athlete who pursues the race without stumbling. The Lord has promised a reward for those who stand faithful to Him, without wavering, like a good farmer who endures the hardship of the weather without giving up until the end of the harvest. The Apostle Paul, at the end of his life and service to the Lord he could say, I have fought the good fight, (as a soldier); I have finished the race, (as a good athlete) I have kept the faith, (as a good farmer) Hence forth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which Yahweh, the righteousness Judge, will award to me and recompense me on that day- and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing (II Timothy 4:7, 8).
My friend, let not the word of God depart from your heart; grasp its insight, and its application. You will for sure be awarded with insight wisdom and understanding in all you need to fight the good fight of faith while you serve the Lord.
