What Will You Do When the End Comes?

YAHSHUA, many years ago, prophesized of the coming judgement that will take place upon the earth. He said that it will be trying times for those “who live upon the face of the entire world.” The times we live in now are taking their turn for the destruction predicted by the prophets of the Old and new Testaments. YAHSHUA warned us to be on our guard, so that our hearts may not be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life… to keep awake, to watch at all times, to pray constantly that we will have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man (Luke 21:33-36). How are we believers to live our lives radiating the faithfulness of God’s promises? Firstly, apply faith to His word. Secondly, live free from fear and anxiety about the future. Thirdly, exercise faith in every circumstance. Fourthly, keep focus on Him Who promised, for He is faithful to do it. Fifthly, stay in the Word and in prayer. They go hand in hand.

Psalm ninety-one is a psalm that covers a wide range of subjects in the subject of protection, subject to a person abiding in the shelter of God, secured under His wings. I see in this psalm the final judgement of the wicked and the salvation of the righteous ones and their victory when God will set them on high (rapture) and satisfy them with long life (eternal life). All through the believer’s pilgrimage on his way to the Promised Land, God has promised to be with him, to protect him, to empower him over Satan and his demons. If we are abiding in the Secret Place of the Most High, we will not fear the evil days when they are multiplied right before our eyes. We will not fear pestilences, we will not fear the enemies’ attacks, nothing and no one will be able to attack us when we are dwelling in the presence of God. To dwell in the presence of God is to be in heaven.

What will those who do not know the truth do when the end comes? That is a question that should weigh heavily in our hearts. How will they believe the truth if they have not heard? YAHSHUA commanded us to go and tell in the persons of His disciples. Our responsibility is to warn them of the coming judgement and offer them the way out of it in Christ our Lord. If they believe, then they will be saved, and as God told Ezekiel, “You have delivered yourself from guilt.” We are watch men and women in the eyes of God to warn those who are in peril and save them from death. Hear the words of Proverbs 24:11: Deliver those who are drawn away to death, and those who totter to the slaughter. Hold them back [from their doom]; and Jude 23: Strive to save others, snatching [them] out of the fire; on others take pity [but] with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality. If you [profess ignorance and] say, Behold, we did not know this, does not He Who weights and ponders the heart perceive and consider it? And He Who guards your life, does not He know it? And shall not He render to [you and] every man according to his work? (Prov. 24:12). Let it be not because of our lack of warning others that they will suffer, but because of their rejection of the truth!

Like Jeremiah, let’s weep for those who are lost in their sins before the Lord in prayer and in supplication for their healing, so that they too will be found secured under the shelter of the Almighty, saved from the destruction that is coming upon the entire earth. Let’s be rivers reaching out through the many arteries it provides with the love of God. He is marking those who sigh and groan over the sins in our midst. Will you, my friend, know what to do when the end comes?
