Before his death, Jacob prophesized about Dan in relationship with the end time. The prophecy of Genesis 3:15 was fulfilled through the tribe of Dan. We believe this to be the truth without a doubt. YAHSHUA is the Seed of the woman, while Judas is the seed of the Devil. He started his diabolic calling when he bruised YAHSHUA’S heal at the time Judas betrayed YAHSHUA. “He came out of them, but he was not one of them.” Satan’s purpose and goal were always to destroy the Holy Seed since the beginning to prevent YAHSHUA from purchasing mankind for God. YAHSHUA said, Satan came to steal, to kill and to destroy (Jn. 10:10a). The nation of Israel has been Satan’s target for the reason that YAHSHUA came from one of their tribes- the tribe of Judah. The battle will continue to the end. When YAHSHUA will defeat Satan by the blowing of His breath.
YAHSHUA warned Judas before he betrayed him, saying, Woe to that man by whom the Son is betrayed. It would have been good for that man if he had never been born (Mark 14:21). This is a solemn warning worthy to receive attention, especially from the one who was going to “bruise” YAHSHUA’S “heel,” or betray Him.
The book of Daniel, and others have a lot to say about the antichrist and his character. Paul defines him as the man of lawlessness, son of perdition, who opposed and exalts himself so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshiped, taking his seat in the temple of God proclaiming that he himself is God (II Thess. 2:3b,4); the Prophet Daniel says that through the antichrist’s trickery will prosper in his hand: for he shall magnify himself in his heart and mind, and in their security, he will corrupt and destroy many. He is a blasphemer of God; in Revelation13:5,6, John says, And the beast was given the power of speech, uttering boastful and blasphemous words… and he opened his mouth to speak slanders against God, blaspheming His name and His abode, and those who live in heaven. The antichrist is a deceiver of mankind; he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries (Dan. 11:32a). He is a murderer; he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many (Dan. 11:44). He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes, but he shall be broken and that by no human hands (Dan. 8:25).
The reign of the antichrist will be in agreement with the devil. He will eradicate all religions that are opposed to him. Together with the false prophet, they will wipe away from the world all those who disagree with his beliefs. In a dictatorship government, he will not only take away man’s religion, but also man’s economic freedoms. A statue will be erected in his honor and all will be forced to worship him. This constitutes Babylonian’s religion policy at the time when Daniel’s friends were thrown in a burning fiery furnace for not wanting to worship Nebuchadnezzar’s statue. Politically, he will be given all authority over every tribe, tongue and nation (Rev. 13:3). He will be the sole ruler of the one world order in the last 3 and 1/2 years. His economic power will be executed by his mark on the foreheads or on the hands of those who follow him, as John says in Revelation 13:16-17, He compels all [alike], both small and great, both the rich and the poor, both free and slave, to be marked with an inscription on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that no one will have power to buy or sell unless he bears the stamp [that is] the stamp of the beast or the number of his name.
The antichrist empire will constitute the revival of the ancient godless empires, typified by the description John gave in Revelation 13:2: and the beast that I saw resembled a leopard, but his feet were like those of a bear and his mouth was like that of a lion. This connects to Daniel chapter seven where he describes what he had seen in his vision: I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of the heavens [political and social agitations] were stirring up the great sea [the nations of the world] and four great beasts came up out of the sea in succession, and different from one another. The first [the Babylonian empire under Nebuchadnezzar] was like a lion and had eagles’ wings…. And behold another beast, a second one [the Medo-Persian empire], was like a bear, and it raised up itself on one side [or one dominion] and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told, Arise, devour much flesh. After this I looked and behold another [the Grecian empire of Alexander the Great], like a leopard which had four wings of a bird on its back…After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast [the Roman empire] –terrible, powerful and dreadful, and exceedingly strong. And it had great iron teeth; it devoured and crushed and trampled what was left with its feet. And it was different from all the beasts that came before it, and it had ten horns [symbolling ten kings] (Dan.7: 2-7).
Here we have the representation of what the antichrist’s reign will be like. It will resemble all these ancient empires in its worst case of dictatorship and meanness. It will be worse because it will affect the entire world in a timely fashion of three and a half short years. Like Nebuchadnezzar, he will consider himself as god and demand worship; with the mouth of a lion, he will blaspheme and utter words against the true God; like the Medo-Persian empire, he will kill many people. He will come out of the revived Roman empire and he will be terrible, “powerful and dreadful and exceedingly strong.” He will come through the activity and working of Satan and will be attended by great power and with all sorts of miracles and signs and delusive marvels, – [all of them] lying wonders, and by unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing because they did not welcome the Truth but refused to love it that they might be saved (II Thess. 2:8-10). The antichrist is the prince of darkness. Those who follow him are sons of darkness and walk not in the light, because their deeds are evil.
The believers in YAHSHUA however, are sons and daughters of Light. Paul said, But we belong to the day, therefore, let us be sober and put on the breastplate of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation, for God has not appointed us to wrath, but obtain [His] salvation through our Lord YAHSHUA the Messiah (I Thess. 5:8). The world is getting ready to receive its antichrist. Its chaotic economies, wars and rumors of wars, caused by those who are responsible to bring him to the scene, are clear to many of us who are in tune with Scripture. However, he will be revealed only in the right time- God’s appointed time only after YAHSHUA’S bride will be taken away from the world, because light and darkness cannot co-exist. The antichrist is coming for the sons of darkness. We are warned by YAHSHUA, Paul, Peter and others, to be vigilant and ready for the coming of our Savior, not of the antichrist. Every new day is a step closer to His coming. He who promised is faithful and He will not be tardy to snatch us from His wrath to come. YAHSHUA said, Keep awake then and watch at all times, praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man (Luke 21:36)
