When the Cock Crowed

Many of us have missed the mark by ignoring warnings life brings. A life without direction and goals often ends up confused and useless. They live as phantoms unnoticed in society, while the world cries in need of them. Nothing matters to them but themselves. They are rich in many cases, having in abundance just to please them. What good is for them when eternity doors open for them? A voice says, Cry. And I said, What shall I cry? All flesh is as frail as grass, and all that makes it attractive is transitory, like the flower of the field (Isa. 40:6). We area called by God to be watchmen; called to warn people of danger. He requires faithfulness in this tremendous weight of responsibility. To the Prophet Ezekiel He said, So, you son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore, hear the word at My mouth and give them warning from Me. When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his perversity and iniquity, but his blood will I require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked to turn from his evil way and he does not turn from his evil warm he shall die in his iniquity, but you will have saved your life (Ezek. 33:7-9).

There are warnings looming tied to the time frame everywhere we go. This warning is as in the cock crows in Peter’s situation. It is a call for repentance of our sins and to turn to God. YAHSHUA said, The person who does not believe in the name of the only Son of God is judged already; the basis of the judgment lies in this: the Light has come into the world and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works were evil (John 3:18-19). There is a destiny reserved for all of us; for those who will listen to warnings and repent, eternal salvation is promised; for those who ignore warnings, they are condemned already.  Heb. 3:15 says, …While it is [still] called today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts… Accordingly, I swore in My wrath and indignation, They shall not enter into my rest. That was the result of the nation of Israel ignoring the warnings before them. Today, we all stand before God without excuses, for we have heard the message of the Gospel.

Before YAHSHUA returned to heaven, He commanded the disciples to go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good new (the Gospel) to every creature; he who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:15-16). Proverbs 24:11-12 says, Deliver those who are drawn away to death, and those who totter to the slaughter, hold them back [from their doom]; Jude 23: [Strive to] save others, snatching [them] from the fire; on others, take pity with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality. And that’s the situation of the world without God, for having not being listening to the warnings to repent and be saved. We are God’s watchmen, taking the message of salvation to all who will listen and turn to God; we are His ambassadors, representing the Gospel of salvation to a lost world. Ours are the responsibilities of warning about the danger ahead. God will not take us as innocent if we fail to warn; and for those who will not heed to it will suffer the consequences.

We are living in a time of the end. There are much to be warned about, as we see the world turning toward its end. This is our open door to bring many to our Lord YAHSHUA. Open your eyes for His redemption is near!
