The world is planning a very costly way to bring peace into the world. But from the beginning, man has been anything but peaceful. With the heart filled with hatred, envy, jealousy to the point to commit homicide, they continued to this day. At the same time, men cry peace, while performing their own wars through violence. They say, “We recognize the profound spiritual and moral imperative to dismantle the structures of violence and build bridges of understanding. This initiative, launching from the historic town of Gernika, is not merely a call to end wars but a summons to cultivate a global culture of peace, rooted in respect for international law and the inherent dignity of every human being.” Men’s effort to bring about peace is not enough, because men by nature are not peaceful, neither faithful to their words. It is however, an acknowledgment of the fact that peace is key to keeping the world functioning in harmony and respect for each other; their purpose is to end wars and foster the idea of peace through dialogue and cooperation. The world’s desire for peace is a legitimate cry, after the loss of so many lives in the battle fields for reason of dominance and whatever justification there is for such cruelty. When they are not killed, many come home mentally and physically disable and families destroyed.
No peace without YAHSHUA, the Prince of Peace. This is a fact. He said, “Peace I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27). When man-made peace is established in the world with everyone enjoying it, there will be destruction annulling their peace. Paul confirmed by saying, “When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, there is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape” (I Thess. 5:3). Whatever has been predicted in the Word of God, man cannot thwart. His sent-out words will not return to Him void, but will accomplish that which He purposed to do. (Isa. 55:10). The world, as it stands in its evil maturity, has no chance to escape what is coming, in spite of their peace plans, for God says, There is no peace, says the Lord for the wicked (Isa. 48:22).
True peace must come from a heart that is right with God, otherwise, it will not remain. The act of stopping wars is good for the world and the masses, however feelings of hatred, unforgiveness, envy, jealousy are a few expressed emotions that will go out of control causing violence, spreading its wings from country to country, uniting for wars. Think about Cain and what caused him to kill his brother. Wasn’t it anger and indignation against his brother? In a small scale, violence destroyed peace the world of yesterday enjoyed. Anger lodged in Cain’s heart and matured to the point of killing his brother for reason of jealousy. The world today is composed of billions and not only of two people. It is connected by treaties, commerce and other meanings for reason of peace and understanding as in the United Nations. Today the world’s priority is peace. The global calls for a peace initiative, investing a lot of money on establishing it. It will require the cooperation of many countries for it to happen. Our president has positioned himself as the “President of Peace” Many world leaders have been invited to join his new board of peace with the purpose to bring peace into the world. The antichrist will be a man of peace, which will attract the masses into following him. A peace built on deceit. “The coming [of the antichrist is through the activity and working of Satan and will be attended by great power and with all sorts of [pretended] miracles and signs and delusive marvels lying wonders and by unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they did not welcome the Truth but refused to love it that they might be saved” (II Thess. 2:9-10).
World peace that will come by means of negotiations and agreements among the countries will be temporary. The Apostle Peter said, “For this present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly people. The Day of the Lord will come like a thief and then the heavens will vanish with a thunderous crash, and the elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up” (2 Peter 3:7,10). Paul assured us that the Day of the Lord is not for those who are sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness… “For God has not appointed us to [incur His] wrath, but salvation through our Lord YAHSHUA the Messiah” (I Thess. 5:9). God’s wrath will be incurred on those who are establishing world peace. All will be thwarted on that day, when God’s vengeance will take place. The antichrist being one of them, will not escape; “he will be slayed with the breath of YAHSHUA’S mouth; He will bring him to an end by His appearing at His coming” (II Thess. 2:8b); “God shall smite the earth and the oppressor with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked” (Isa.11:4b).
What will happen to the world’s peace after it is established and people will be enjoying it? That peace is one that will bring destruction and judgment (I Thess. 5:3). My friend, do not put faith in the coming world peace. For only YAHSHUA’S peace is true and eternal peace. Peace will exist only through Him, for He is the Prince of Peace. He is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:6b).
To those who do not welcome the Truth, but refused to love it that they might be saved, God will send upon them a misleading influence, a working of error and a strong delusion to make them believe what is false, in order that all may be judged and condemned who did not believe the Truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness (II Thess. 2:10-12). The global calling for peace involves new initiatives by the president of this country. As the world joins him, among them the antichrist, not yet revealed, he will deceive many including the nation of Israel, who willing will accept him. He must be revealed in his time (II Thess.2).
YAHSHUA told us to keep awake and watch at all times, praying that we may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man (Luke 21:36).
That’s through the taking away of YAHSHUA’S church – the rapture. Will you be taken away or will you be left behind? The choice is yours. Choose life, my friend while there is still time!
