And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithfull and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems. And He and a name written on Him which on one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called the Word of God. And His armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh, He has a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Rev. 19: 11-16) He will swallow up death [in victory; He will abolish death forever]. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; and the reproach of His people He will take away from off all the earth; for the Lord has spoken it. It shall be said in that day, Behold, our God upon Whom we have waited and hoped, that He might save us! This is the Lord, we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation (Isa. 25:8-9). His elected, the Jews will also rejoice when He comes for them in a different time frame. We will say, It is finished, praise God!
YAHSHUA’S return is certain and confirmed by many, including YAHSHUA Himself. There is not a touch of doubt that He will appear in the sky in glorious splendor of beauty and perfection. He will present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things (Eph. 5:27). John said, “we shall resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope on Him cleanses himself just as He is pure” (I John 3:2-3). He Who promised is faithful to His words. Awaiting and looking for the blessed hope, even the glorious appearance of our great God, and Savior Christ Jesus the Messiah, the Messiah, the Anointed One (Titus 2:13) it is the most important thing to do. The Apostle Paul assured the Thessalonians of the return of the Lord, saying, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first. Then we, the living one who remain, shall simultaneously be caught up along with resurrected dead, in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always we shall be with the Lord!” (I Thess. 4:16-17).
My friend, there is nothing more important for the Christian to be occupying their mind than that of being ready to meet our Lord. It is the culmination, the finalization of our redemption, which cost our Savior’s life. After these many years, we will be glorified on that day when He comes for us. What glorious day that it will be! It is beyond imagination the glory that will be revealed to us. Even the world of nature waits with expectation for that day! Here is a poem for you to pray with me:
Come, My Beloved, come!
The winter has been long
Waiting for your return
To take us to Your home
Here we remain. Come!
Come, my Beloved, come
Hear your bride’s cry
Echoing throughout the mountains
Sustained by faith- The force
That will take us up as one!
Come, my Beloved, come
We long to be with you
Forever worshipping you
Eternally adoring you
In harmony, loving You
Come, my Beloved, come
Whenever it will be
O, that You would rend the heavens
With the trumpet now
In an everlasting sounding of victory!
To fetch your bride
Forgiven, and sanctified
Forever free from sin.
What glory it will be
When Your face we shall see!
