Stresses are mountains, they are walls, but our God will level those mountains and turn them into highways easy to navigate through. They are walls when we don’t seem to hear from God and let out frustration flow to others in anger and despair. But our God sees them all, He said, He has imprinted us (our picture) in the palm of His hands (Isa. 49). His promises are that He will make all His mountains a way, and His highways a path way. When we walk with the Lord, we become more like Him, and not ourselves, with all the weakness of the flesh. Stress is a test of our faith, as it was a test for the Patriarch Abraham, for all the patriarchs of the ancient times. We fail it in the onset of anger, frustration and despair. Many other feelings that expel negativity against circumstances are contrary to meekness, humbleness that our Lord taught us. Subjection to its demands elevates to God’s will and plans for our lives. If we fail in our stresses, our strength is small; the sure strength is that one that we receive from our Lord YAHSHUA. Faith will sparkle through us in the time of stress, when we take the Word of God seriously and faithfully in all circumstances of time.
“Be still and know” let’s let the Holy Spirit take control of our emotion in our time of stress. Let our family and friends know that He lives in us, not only by words, but by action. When we become more like YAHSHUA, then our response to our stress will be one controlled by Him. I, so much need to walk that way. As I write many of my articles, I feel convicted of many ways I need to change. This article is one of them. To overcome the things I can’t change, I need His strength, as you will feel, when you make the decision to walk closer to Him. The Bible tells us, when angry do not sin; do not ever let your wrath last until the sun goes down; leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil (Ephe. 4:24-25). I am sure that many so-called Christians have died holding onto bitterness without reaching heaven. For there is no place for unforgiveness in heaven according to YAHSHUA’S words, Forgive, for I have forgiven you. If you forgive people their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses (Matt 6:14-15).
So, leave no room in your soul for Satan to take control. Then you will be before God, a forgiven son, calm and circumspect to walk in love and forgiveness, never letting go of His commandments.
We are that when under stress, is a fact we can’t escape, as well as, we are when alone. May our behavior and action transpire what we are in YAHSHUA. Desiring only to please Him, Who gave His life with forgiveness applied, to conform us according to His will, and is sanctifying us to be molded to His likeness. Let’s strive to be like him when under stress, embracing His strength to the end. Sparking peace through understanding, accepting things for what they are, when they are out of our control, is walking, listening to the Holy Spirit. YAHSHUA said, the sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them and they follow Me (John 10).
THINK ABOUT IT!
