Through Him also we have [our] access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God; moreover, let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance, and endurance develops maturity of character, and character joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation; such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us (Rom. 5:2-5). Let’s remember that when our soul is anchored in hope, we experience the glory of God and greater joy, knowing that beyond the blue skies there is a beautiful place waiting for us after all is over. Life is more than experiencing earth; it is the promise we wait for in the eternal hope that endures to the end. This earthly weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning of a new day, when face to face we see YHASHUA, finishing His plan of salvation to the extent that our tongue and our heart and everything glorious withing us may sing praise to Him and not be silent. O, Lord our God, we will give thanks to You forever (Psalm 30:5,12) (paraphrased)
Forever and ever, we will render Him praise and adoration for all He gifted us. It will be a constant and unceasing worship. Promised accomplished; hope and faith, embracing each other, rejoice with the results. We, His people, experiencing the glory of God, will not stop dancing and singing in perfect worship. There is much to think about hope, a beautiful word that encourages and elevates us to God in an eternal thanksgiving. The nature’s world will also participate in the fulfillment of our redemption, for nature (creation) itself will be set free from bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children, for we know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now, and not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit a [foretaste of the blissful things to come] gran inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies (Rom. 8:21-23). This is our glorious hope that keeps sustaining us until the day when all will become reality. The last stanza of the hymn, It is well with my soul by Horatio G. Apattford we read,
And Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
Blessed are those who patiently wait for that day in hope that endures to the end. The Word of God gives us guidance concerning the hope that will take us up to heaven when He comes to fetch us. Because it is in hope that we wait, since hope is the anchor of the soul, we can say, “It is well with my soul.” It is well, because I know Who holds my future; He Who holds my future, holds my hand, guiding me to the Promised Land, where hope in faith will become sight. My present time is secured even in difficult times. Nothing will happen to me without His consent, for I am His child, living in the blessed hope that someday His promises will become physically mine. In hope, we must remain, For He Who promised is faithful and truthful. This is the way, let’s walk in it, pleasing Him Who purchased us with His own life; He physically suffered and died a terrible death; so that we may live with Him. That’s the hope we hold unto. My friend, where ever you are in your space of time God granted you, take time to consider and realize the goodness of God offered to you; do not reject His offer of salvation, but embrace the hope mingled with faith of eternity with Him.
