The word of God, however, gives us a lift with the brightness of a beautiful future. It turns its lights as we turn its pages, so we can see the beauty of His plan for us. Salvation is promised and a sure direction displayed as a map for us to follow Him as in to be spiritually fit to enter the gate that leads to heaven by following YAHSHUA’S command to love one another, to believe and trust in God by faith; to keep our hearts free from worries, and anxieties. God’s word is a lamp for our feet and a light to our path while we face darkness daily in this world of chaos. Chapter 35 of Isaiah opens up with promises of a beautiful future of restoration. Israel will experience it and rejoice in their God; we, His bride, will shout for joy at the fulfillment of these promises. Now it is the time for us to “encourage the exhausted and strength the feeble; to say to those with anxious hearts, Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; the recompense of God will come, but He will save you.” (Isaiah 35). Judgment is coming with certainty against the wicked people and salvation for those who trust in God. At that time of restoration, a highway of holiness will be available for the ransomed of the Lord, away from the Lord’s judgment. For YAHSHUA’S bride there will be a call by means of a loud cry of summons, a shout of an archangel and with the blast of the trumpet of God… (I Thess. 4:16a). These will happen in different times, of course, the bride of Christ being raptured first before the millennium.
As were for Noah and Lot, when the Lord God delivered them from the torment of their souls by providing them a shelter from His judgment, so will be for us, His bride. The day will come when the past will be forever gone, giving room to the new things. They will sprout strongly in the eternal order of things. YAHSHUA as king of all the earth and heaven, will be the commander. No one who is evil, not even wild beasts will travel through the highway of holiness. Only the redeemed of the Lord. We cannot visualize a world of perfect peace; It will be a world like when it was first created. Harmonious in every aspect of the creation. A song will be sung, “O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You. I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things, even purposes planned of old in faithfulness and truth” (Isaiah 25:1). Joy, unspeakable joy will be seen in the faces of all people. God will swallow up death and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; and the reproach of His people He will take away from off all the earth; for the Lord has spoken it; it shall be said in that day, “Behold our God upon Whom we have waited and hoped, that He might save us! This is the Lord we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in salvation” (Isaiah 25:8- 9).
In order for the Highway of Holiness to exist, God will make the earth empty and make it waste and turn it upside down and scatter abroad its inhabitants; the land (Jerusalem) and the earth shall be utterly laid waste and utterly pillaged for the Lord has said this; the earth will be utterly broken, the earth will rent asunder, the earth will shake violently; the earth will stager like a drunken man and shall sway to and fro like a hammock; its transgression shall lie heavily upon it, and it shall fall and not rise again (Isaiah 24). Men and beasts will suffer under the Lord God’s judgment. Those days will be like no others and they will never be forgotten.
YAHSHUA is the Way, Truth and Life; He is love, He is longsuffering. Thousands of years have passed since He judged the earth in its entirety. Everything was subjected to destruction, with exception of Noah and his family. The coming of the Son of Man will be as it were in the days of Noah, when no one concerned themselves with the warning of destruction of the earth given them for many years. YAHSHUA said, “As were the days of Noah, so will it be in coming of the Son of man; for just as in those days before the flood people were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah went into the ark. They did not understand until the flood came and swept them all away- so will be the coming of the Son of Man” (Matt. 14:37-39). The pattern continues today. Warnings, and more warnings, have arrived electronically and through other means. However, there is no sense of urgency in men’s hearts, even in the hearts of those who call themselves Christians. Life as usual, so they continue living as if nothing was happening. The Apostle Peter had this to say concerning the last days: “to begin with, you must know and understand this, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing walk after their own fleshly desires and say, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the forefathers fell asleep, all things have continued exactly as they did form the beginning of creation, for they willfully overlook and forget this, that the heavens [came into] existence long ago by the word of God, and the earth also which was formed out of water and by means of water, through which the world that then [existed] was deluged with water and perished., but by the same word the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment, and destruction of the ungodly people.” (II Peter 3:3-7).
We have been warned; the world has been warned. Nature stands faithful to its Creator in all we see happening as signs of the last days. Heaven is getting ready to bring forth God’s judgment and restoration. The Highway of Holiness will be traveled on by those who are holy in God’s sight, when all come to completion. This earth as we know it, will be completely destroyed and a new earth and heaven will be created, according to the word of God. All is falling into the end, when God will be met as the judge for those who rejected Him, but as a Savior for those who accepted Him. Where ever you are my friend, make up your mind to follow Him in all faithfulness, “for our God is a consuming fire!”
THINK ABOUT IT!
