When Lazarus came out of the tomb with his hands and feet wrapped in burial cloths and with a napkin bound around his face, that shows the mortal being replaced by the immortal, when we receive our new glorified body. And as John said, He said, “We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself just as Christ is pure” (I John 3:2). The Bible says that, “If any person is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! It was God in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but canceling them] and committing to us the message of reconciliation.” (II Cor. 5:17-16). When we reject the message of salvation through our Lord, YAHSHUA, we remain dead spiritually. In this situation, there is eternal condemnation, for it is only through the sacrifice of YAHSHUA that salvation resides. Our God does not want that any should perish; He provided a way out of it, when He purchased our lives with His own blood. The Bible says that “without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.”
They walk dressed in burial cloths, indicating the spiritual state in which they are found. Spiritually dead, one cannot see, nor hear to understand the message, because of their choice to reject YAHSHUA. They are in bondage to sin of death.
YAHSHUA said to Nicodemus, “What is born of the flesh is flesh; what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not at My telling you, You must all be born anew.” (John 3:6-7). There is no place in heaven for a spiritually dead person. If your name is not written in the book of life, your name will not be called out to be saved from the destruction from God’s judgment to come. Lazarus would remain dead, if YAHSHUA had not called Him out of death unto life, although, this was a physical experience. It is the same in the spiritual sphere. We hear the message of the Gospel everywhere we go. It is right at our reach; that is God calling you from death unto life. Opportunities are given to all to accept or reject salvation. The Bible says, “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake; some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt and abhorrence.” (Daniel 12:2). YAHSHUA said, “Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it.” (Matt 7:13-14). YAHSHUA waited for four days before He brought Lazarus to life, so that the nation of Israel would believe that He was the promised Messiah; that He was the “Son of David”; the Son of God.
There is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved, (but by the name of YAHSHUA). Salvation exists in no man who has made himself to be God; neither in any images made for worship as God. Salvation had to be bought with a price that only the Son of God could pay- His own blood. Pure, without blemishes of sin. Sinners can not save another sinner. There is no power in the human race for salvation, for we were all born in sin and under the condemnation of God’s judgment. At the time when God calls out the names of those who accepted the message of salvation, will your name be called out? Or will you be left to suffer under the judgment of God? The choice is yours. YAHSHUA did his part to save you. There is nothing left to be done to save you.
THINK ABOUT IT!
