God Disarmed the Principalities and Powers That Were Raged Against Us

Meanwhile, the Christians have the armor of God to fight them. Understanding the word of God is necessary to know how to use it to defeat the enemy, without fear of them.  Fear itself is an enemy of the soul, when we open the door to them. It expresses great power in its war against us. But the Bible says that “God has not given a spirit of fear; but of love and sound mind” (Il Tim. 1:7) and in I John 4: 18 John wrote, “There is no fear in love, but full-grown love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror, for fear bring with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love”. When our Lord YAHSHUA disarmed the principalities and powers, fear was included. When it comes against us, we must remember that it was not YAHSHUA Who gave it to us. Well, recognizing our enemies and battling them with the powerful word of God, it is for sure to have victory. The Lord YAHSHUA has already made them powerless through His death and resurrection in victory. Satan and his principalities are done. They are waiting for their judgment day. They well know that it is coming. In Matthew 8:28-34, we read that when YAHSHUA encountered a man possessed with many demons who said to Him, “What have You to do with us, YAHSHUA, Son of God? Have You come to torment us before the appointed time?” So, there is in God’s calendar a time when He will judge these evil principalities together with Satan. But our Lord YAHSHUA, the Captain of the host, will lead us into victory.   As a matter of fact, He has already won.

At the right time, when all will take place for God’s judgment to fall on Satan and his demons, YAHSHUA will crush his head, by sending him to hell. Revelation 20 says, “Then I saw an angel descending from heaven; he was holding the key of the abyss and a great chain was in his hand; and he gripped and overpowered the dragon, that old serpent, who is the devil and Satan. He bound him for a thousand years, then he hurled him into the abyss and closed it and sealed it above him, so that he should no longer lead astray and deceive and seduce the nations until the thousand years were at an end. After that he must be liberated for a short time. He will finally be hurled into the fiery lake of burning brimstone, where the beast and false prophet were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever” (vs. 10). In our battle against the principalities and powers, we must remember that the victory is already won and Satan and his demons are already defeated. When fear comes to intimidate us, this evil spirit has no power greater than the blood of YAHSHUA shed to save us, the ultimate price He paid to buy us back from Satan’s dominion and eternal death. Paul gives us the way to overcome all of them: “Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day, and having done all, to stand [firmly in your place]” (Eph. 6:13)

“If God is for us, who can be against us? Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?  Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter, yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond doubt that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ YAHSHUA our Lord” (Rom. 8:31,33-39). And that establishes the fact that the principalities and powers are already sentenced and they have no power over God’s people. Rejoice my friend that ours is the victory and theirs is the eternal condemnation. Let’s go to Calvary, where our Savior suffered and died to ponder on how difficult the battle was for Him to save us. As He said, It is finished! He won the battle for all of us. We belong to Him and Satan has no power to snatch us from His hand.

THINK ABOUT IT!
