What I Say to You, I Say to Everybody

(Mark 13:36-37)

YAHSHUA, when on earth, had much to say about the end times. God’s plans for the future of humankind and the world existed from the beginning of time. YAHSHUA gave just a glimpse of the end times, to warn, and alert us concerning preparedness. He was and is compassionate for men and never desired them to be destroyed through His judgment. He suffered in His body as men suffer more than all of us together to give us eternal life.  The end times will not bring good news for the world collectively, neither for those who reject the message of salvation. YAHSHUA in His love and compassion, alerted us today, as He was doing to His disciples long time ago. We are living in the time of birth pains, which will bring the great tribulation, of which the Lord has spoken and warned preparedness to meet Him in order to escape such a time. Mark, as Mathew and Luke, wrote about events that precede the great tribulation according to the words of YAHSHUA. When He revealed to them the situation embracing the great tribulation, He knew that they would not be here on earth to experience the terror of the time; He knew however, that this generation we live in needed to know the truth. The main point is to be ready for the day when He returns. As we know well that the day neither the hour has been disclosed of His return.

The disciples knew in part about the end of time, and that awoke the curiosity to know more about it. While He sat on the Mount of Olives, Peter, and John and Andrew asked Him saying, “Tell us when is this to take place and what will be the sigh when these things all are about to be accomplished?” They sincerely wanted to know about the events that would lead to the tribulation or the end of times. YAHSHUA started by warning about false messiah; about wars, earthquakes, famines, calamities being them only the beginning of the tribulation, which He described as the intolerable anguish and suffering time, and the abomination of desolation mentioned by Daniel. In this chapter YAHSHUA also spoke of the invasion of the nation of Israel; persecution of Christians and much more. He left the disciples informed about the far future there were coming to the entire world.  However, He didn’t leave them discouraged and hopeless. He told them parables that taught them readiness for that time. One particular parable was about the ten virgins, which speaks of His church, which was about to take place after He left the earth. Out of ten virgins, five were ready at the call or shout announcing the arrival of the Bridegroom. “Go out to meet Him” was the command. Awakening of their sleep, only five were ready with oil in their lamps, which symbolizes the presence of the Holy Spirit in them. It is of most importance that we be ready to meet our Lord, otherwise, the door to Him will be locked forever. No more opportunity to enter into the kingdom of God. YAHSHUA was and is always very concerned that we all be saved. He warned us by saying, [Watch, I say] lest He come suddenly and unexpectedly and find you asleep; and what I say to you I say to everybody: Watch 9give strict attention, be cautious, active and alert)!
