There is something here we are not understanding to perceive the impact of God’s words. Reason why we are falling as prey to the enemy. We are spiritually, mentally and physically sick. We are lacking understanding and wisdom on how to apply the living Word of God to our sick body. It seems that hope and faith are non- existent to rid of our diseases. Healing has never been a popular biblical teaching in churches. The idea has been ridiculed and many die a premature death in a mediocre faith, dragging their diseases, believing they to be the will of God. If He was scourged to heal us, how in the world, would He kill us, without cause? The Bible does not say that through the doctors we were healed, but by YAHSHUA’S STRIPES we were healed. Faith in drugs, not in the law of life of the Spirit through our Lord YAHSHUA is to follow the law of sin and death; it is confusion of hope and faith. He gave us power to heal the sick and cast out demons. There are innumerous miracles performed in the Bible time and many in our time. The law of sin and death has been crucified with YAHSHUA, Who bore all our diseases, and forgave our sins. We are under the Law of life. The Law that liberated us from the power of Satan. We were transferred from the law of sin and death into the law of life, forgiveness. As you know, the Law kills, but the Spirit gives life. The Word of God is sharp and nothing can annul it. When we live according God’s Word, our spirit, soul and body will benefit with heath and countless blessings. Healing, being a most sought thing, was presented to us at Calvary. His words, “It is finished” included also our physical body, and soul. He did not die for us to suffer diseases, but to be liberated from its power. Solomon said that there is a time for everything under the sun, even to be born and to die. Dying without the terror of disease is most satisfying, by entering into the presence of the Lord. We suffer because we have accepted diseases as part of life; and we do not mingle hope and faith with the Word of God to apply to our physical bodies to be healed.
There are many Bible verses to confirm the fact that healing has been provided at the death and scourging YHASHUA suffered at the hands of the Romans. These weren’t done for nothing. YAHHUA’S death was planed by the Father and everything that happened to Him in those hours, had a purpose to be fulfilled, that of salvation and healing. Accepting Him as Savior, we should as well believe and accept His healing. Doesn’t the Bible tell us so? How could it be the will of God for us to be sick, when He already suffered for it? I believe sin can bring us diseases and death, when we make the choice to go our own way, by rejecting the instructions from the Word of God. Besides that, healing is for the glory of God. Heb. 10:4-7 says: Because the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take sins away, hence, when He entered into the world, HE said, Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but instead You have not desired, but instead you have made ready a body for Me [to offer] in burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight. Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will, O God what is written of Me in the volume of the book. The Prophet Isaiah confirms: Yet it as the will of the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief and made Him sick. When You and He make His life an offering for sin, He shall see His offspring. He shall prolong His days and the will and pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. (Isa. 53:10).
Something very important was happening between the life of our Savior and the life of His Father that day. Although, painful. When YAHSHUA uttered His last words, “It is finished”, He was shouting the victory to His Father. The Father then accepted the work His Son had accomplished and perhaps He said, “Well done, my Son!” Those who are redeemed by His blood, YAHSHUA set them free from the law of sin and death into the law of the Spirit of life through YAHSHUA. Free from eternal condemnation and free from diseases. BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED AND MADE WHOLE; HE FORGAVE ALL OUR INIQUITIES AND HEALED ALL OUR DISEASES (Isas. 53; Ps. 103:1-3).
The marks on His hands and feet, on His side, the marks left on His head from the crown of thorns, oh, yes, the marks left on His entire body by the scourging, are reasons, my friends to believe that the stripes received on His body is very much part of His redemptive work. The spirit, the soul and body were all benefitted. We should not ignore the healing marked on His entire body for all who will receive it. Think about my friends and let the light of understanding shine in you for your healing.
