Give me neither poverty
Nor riches; but feed me with food
That is needful for me daily.
I acknowledge my sins before You
And ask Your forgiveness
In the measure that I forgive
Those who wronged me.
Let me not lay my head
On my pillow at night without
Forgiveness in my heart
To find myself in eternity
Unforgiven and away from You,
But create in me a pure heart
And a renewed spirit within me.
Lead me away from temptation
Let it not take hold of me.
I submit myself to You,
I resist the evil one
For him to flee!
Deliver my soul, O God
From his accusations
Against me.
In my weakness shine
Your strength through me.
Let the enemy be confounded
And defeated at Your rebuke,
No more condemnation!
In Your presence I will
Shout praises to You
For Yours is the kingdom
The power and the glory
Forever and ever!
