The sun opened its eyes
And brightened the day
As God purposed
And that was good!
The stars, the planets
Danced in the night sky
With their sparkling lights
Flirting with the world
The moon took its place
In beauty of its light
Received from the sun
To shine the dark night
Then God created man
From the dust of the ground
And breathed in him life
But a companion for him
Not yet found
Adam went through surgery
Woke up with a missing rib
But a woman was found at his side
A beautiful gift
For Adam she was
And the two became one
And God thought it to be good
That was a perfect
Sinless World,
Where God would walk
In the cool of the day
To talk to Adam and Eve
In perfect communion
Until they sinned
And hid from Him
Judgment took place
On that day
For the three
But a promise was given
Salvation through the blood
Of His Son – the perfect sacrifice
Would be paid in full
For the redemption of mankind!
