Meanwhile…crucify him!
My sentence, he thought
It is over! It is over!
The prison door opens
Barabbas! Come with us
Trembling with fear
He follows the guards
The shout crucify him
Intensifies!
Barabbas’ eyes
Meet the eyes
Of the one condemned
In his stead
Not a word, not a sound
His eyes hears the words,
My death, your freedom
Salvation it shall bring
To you this day
For this I came
Receive it
Go and sin no more!
Barabbas is You and I!
