The world turns fast
In its time and season
One more day, another year
The youth is gone
The old has come
Grey color, brittle bones
Heart failure and anxiety
A pill or two- no comfort
A road without horizon
The cry of my soul
One more day
Where is my God?
The hazy color of grey
Seeing through my eyes
Obscurity with no end
Cover my understanding
With rolling waves
Where is my God?
Not until I entered the garden
Where my Savior alone agonized
The pain of my soul
Did I understand
He had been there
All the time
Carrying my sorrow
Of today and tomorrow
In that garden
Where all started
Where Adam and Eve
Slipped and fell
Gethsemane, you I will
Never forget!
Until the day breaks
When my Savior
Will I see face to face
At the end of time
My sin- His pain
His death – my gain
Gethsemane –His sorrow
For my affliction
Of today and tomorrow
He was there all the time!
