Determining what really matters in our life through spiritual discernment, is a way to be found blameless on that day when our Lord YAHSHUA will come for us. It is also important to know that the wilderness we are passing through, is just a way in route to our heavenly destination. It matters to consider the things of this wilderness as temporary, not to get so attached to them, so to miss our heavenly destination. This “great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirst ground,” is not for us to remain in it; neither for us to love it. Let’s live on this earth as foreigners, with our suitcases packed and ready to go when we hear His calling, closing our ears to discouraging words the world offers, and our eyes not to see what presumably the world sees and believes. Believing and fearing only the Lord God, let’s faithfully pursue the heavenly call to follow Him and be ready for His return!
